Adding tasks and templates to issues is a great way to track additional work on Issues.
Sometimes you find yourself in the situation where you keep adding the same set of tasks to
issues all the time, and it can get somewhat tedious.
To help you aleviate this issue, we've integrated with the free JIRA Automation addon.
This allows you to define rules that are automatically triggered when issues change, and automatically
insert a single task, or an entire template into an issue.
Some examples we've been using ourselves:
- insert a template with verification steps for production bugs
- create a task for a project manager to sign-off on hotfix issues
- create a task to udpate documentation once an issue is resolved
